Established in 2003, Darren Tyers founded Tyers & Son Brickwork Ltd because of his passion for construction. His career started as a roofing labourer at the age of 16, some 40 years ago, then attending Bedford College for 2 years to achieve his City and Guilds of London Institute in Brickwork. This was to gain an insight into the industry and to assist with the family business in developing properties.
Since then Darren has played a central role in establishing and growing the business over more than two decades. Known for his practical expertise, reliability and commitment to delivering high quality construction projects.
Under his leadership, the company has maintained a steady presence across the UK, delivering a wide range of commercial and residential projects while building strong relationships that have led to consistent repeat business with existing clients.

In 2020, Darren was joined by his son Lewis who completed his apprenticeship at Bedford College and the company continue to support the younger generation through their studies into the industry.
Working with up to 140 bricklayers, Tyers and Son has earned a reputation within the construction industry as a reliable company who consistently deliver a high quality service. Our extensive experience enables us to add value by selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective construction solution for each individual project and we continue to build relationships enabling us to have repeat business with our clients.
